The software

UniKiosk is provided free of charge by UniCore Technologies LTD. You may install and use it on as many devices as you like, commercially or otherwise, with no licence fee and no registration.

You may not resell the software itself as your own product, or remove or misrepresent its origin.

No warranty

The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

The current published build is a release candidate. It is signed, but it has not been certified for any regulated or safety-critical use. Do not use it where a screen failing, showing stale content, or being exited would cause harm.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UniCore Technologies LTD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or business, arising from the use of or inability to use the software.

Templates and media

The layout templates published on this site may be used and modified freely, including commercially.

The photographs, videos and sample feeds bundled with them are placeholders intended for evaluation. Replace them with your own content before putting a board in front of customers. We do not grant onward rights to that media.

Typefaces are subject to their own licences. Uploading a typeface to a device embeds it, and that is your responsibility to have permission for.

Your content

Whatever you display is yours, and stays on your device. You are responsible for it — including that you have the rights to it, and that it complies with the law and with any advertising or accessibility rules that apply where the screen is.

Changes

We may update these terms. Because the software does not check in with anything, a change to these terms does not reach out and alter software you have already installed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
